University Archives and Special Collections, Xavier University Library

This is a collection of documents relating to the various capital gifts campaigns conducted by Xavier University. It encompasses the St. Xavier Diamond Jubilee Fund (1915-1920) through the To See Great Wonders campaign (2006-2011).

This collection of records reflects activity by the Xavier University Division of University Relations. Items chiefly concern various annual fund raising efforts done by the university and the administrative records of Vice President Edward P. VonderHaar. The materials include publications, correspondence, and annual fund raising materials.

The Xavier University Photographic Negative Collection, acquired from a variety of sources over decades including the Office of Marketing and Communications, contains a selection of 756 photographic negatives documenting campus life, student activities, faculty, and alumni events at Xavier University (Cincinnati, Ohio) from around 1889 to 1959 that were reformatted and digitized in 2007.

Meeting minutes and committee documents of the Xavier University Planning and Development Committee. Included in the collection is the Five Year Planning Report issued by the consulting firm G.A. Brakeley Company, which firm worked with this Xavier committee.
